CHLD 200: Observation & Assessment in Early Childhood

This course focuses on the appropriate use of observation and assessment strategies to document child growth and development, appraise child behavior, and plan for learning in quality early childhood programs. The course also explores recording strategies, rating systems, portfolios, documentation, and various assessment methods. Students are required to conduct and analyze in-person child observations.
