BTEC 232: Principles of Flow Cytometry

This advanced course addresses the basic theory and practice of flow cytometry. Instruction focuses on understanding the principles of flow cytometry, acquiring skills in the detection and measurement of physical and chemical characteristics of a population of cells, and analyzing the outcome for the purpose of determining system performance and cell characteristics. The course assumes some prior knowledge of solution preparation, assays, and cell culture.
