Academic and Career Pathways (ACPs) are collections of majors with related courses that fit within a career area. ACPs help guide you toward fulfilling careers through academic programs and integrated experiences and support services. You can narrow down your choice of major and begin developing an educational plan that leads to degree or certificate completion or transfer. You will also join a community of like-minded individuals working toward similar academic and career goals. 

MiraCosta College has six ACPs from which to choose:

• Business and Technology
• Creative and Applied Arts
• Health Sciences
• Languages, Communication, and Humanities
• Math and Sciences
• Social and Behavioral Sciences
